Every little girl dreams of a handsome prince and a happily ever after. Disney has given many of us our prince charming, but which one is the hottest?
Naveen from Frozen is a good-looking guy who didn’t have a traditional lifestyle. He was honest, kind and loved Tiana for who she was.
1. Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid
Of all the Disney princes, Eric may be the hottest of them all. A strapping sailor, he’s a hard worker who doesn’t need to throw parties and play the field to get women. He’s an expert sailor and loves to explore the world.
In the live-action version, he gets his own sweeping song “Wild Uncharted Waters,” which relays his backstory of being rescued from a shipwreck and adopted by Queen Seline. He is passionate about maritime exploration and wants to open trades with other countries to help his kingdom thrive.
He’s also a dog-loving guy who plays the flute and is honorable. Plus, he has dimples. What more could you want?
2. Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty
Prince Phillip was the first Disney prince to break out of the generic, Ken-doll looking mold. He’s charming, handsome, incredibly talented in singing and fighting, and extremely loyal. He even defied his father for the love of his life.
When he meets Aurora, formerly known as Briar Rose, in the forest, he immediately falls in love with her despite not knowing her name. He then follows her to save her from the curse of Maleficent.
Like Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog, he starts out arrogant and spoiled, but once he’s in love with Tiana he becomes a true gentleman. He’s also a surprisingly good cook and a smoldering reader!
3. Prince Ali from Aladdin
While the original cartoon version of Aladdin’s Prince Ali is a bit Ken-doll in appearance, he packs a lot of personality into his character. He’s charming and a little cocky, but his heart is in the right place. He’s a big fan of helping those in need, which makes him more endearing than other Disney heroes.
His pals Babkak the Agrabah foodie, Omar the kindhearted and sensitive soul, and Kassim the stubborn leader are also great. They are a tight-knit crew who make for an amazing team.
Genie is the icing on the cake as he adds humor with his fast-talking personality. Unfortunately, the live-action remake with Will Smith doesn’t do Genie justice. It looks boring and bland without Williams’s comic timing.
4. Li Shang from Mulan
The General’s son, Li Shang is tall and handsome with a chiseled physique. He is a military man at heart and dreams of becoming a great general. He also has a Napoleon complex and loves to boast about his strength.
When Mulan is assigned to him for military duty, he initially dismisses her, but when she proves herself he realizes that she is incredibly brave and strong. He later gives her Mulan’s embroidered silk dress and a gold cuff.
He is accompanied by his scaly sidekick Mushu, who is cute and cheeky. Li Shang is a bit of a slacker who doesn’t like to take responsibility but he gets better as the film progresses. His character is a lot like Prince Eric in terms of looks and personality.
5. Prince Charming from Cinderella
As the king of his castle, Prince Charming is the man every little girl dreams of marrying. He’s tall, handsome and takes care of everyone. He’s the perfect gentleman and makes sure to open doors, offer to pay for things and always looks you in the eye.
He’s not your typical Disney prince though. He started out as a slacker and spoiled party boy who avoided responsibilities and loved to blame others. His perspective and perspective on life changed when he met Pocahontas.
He’s an expert swordsman and a fighter when it comes to protecting his family. He was also a surprisingly good cook and took pride in cooking for his princess. He also waltzed with Cinderella for years after her step-sisters broke the glass slipper.
